Terms and Conditions: All services are for Windows or Apple Operating systems only. Any other operating system will need to be discussed with us before booking a service. Some devices may not be repairable. Service is for ACT region only. Travel charge will apply for areas outside of the ACT. There is a minimum of one hour service charge for all onsite service. If an onsite service was booked and then changed by the customer into a remote service on the same day of the appointment, a one-hour minimum service may still be charged even if the remote service is under 1 hour. Additional time can be used on a later service. Warranty: Please note: All service-based warranty will be assessed and provided via a remote service tool. Installation of remote service software will be required. Warranty may be provided up to the original charged service amount. That mean if we only charged 1 hour for the original job, you will only be able to claim 1 hour of warranty service. All additional service provided will be subject to service charges.
For all hardware-based warranty, we will first determine if the hardware is faulty and if it has been physically damaged. It maybe that the hardware is not faulty but is simply not operating in Microsoft Windows. One way to determine if the part is faulty or if there is a software or driver fault would be to conduct a Windows reset. If this method is used, we strongly advise that you backup your data before proceeding. Please note programs may need to be reinstalled. If there is no physical sign of damage and the product is under 12 months old (except for batteries). We will replace the faulty part or parts with working parts. Replacement parts may be refurbished (not new) parts. Warranty will continue until the 12 months from the original sale has expired. Please note: Batteries only have 3 months Warranty. This is a limitation from our supplier. Coupons and Promo Codes ICT Customers Remote Service Installation IT consulting / Computer Repair Data Back-up service Hard Drive Upgrade from HDD to SSD This typically can take 24 to 48 hrs for us to complete this task, depending on the condition of the original Hard Drive. We will attempt a Hard Drive clone when possible and practical to do so. The typical service charge for this service is 2h at the rate of $135 p/h and the cost of an SSD.
